I am a born and raised Arizona hailing from Tucson, Arizona and have lived here in Maricopa since May of 2015. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful city and its people upon moving here. I own Joe's: A Barber Shop here in Maricopa, but that is not why I chose to join the foundation. I believe that any occupant of a city has the responsibility to make it a better place than when they first arrived. 

I have always been drawn to service. I served as an EMT and a firefighter in Tucson and the outlying areas and taught emergency medical services and fire science at Pima community College for a short while. When I was approached to be a board member two years ago, though I was reluctant due to a lack of knowledge, I knew it was a calling to help those who serve to keep our great city safe.  I have learned much over the past two years and I am grateful to continue learning from the other amazing members of this board!
